Sharon comes from a background in advertising and illustration. She taught Watercolour Painting at Sir Sanford Fleming College for ten years and is currently teaching a variety of courses at the Art School of Peterborough and The Kawartha Artists' Gallery.

Nature herself, in every mood and season, is the inspiration for Sharon's
paintings. Mixing colours on the palette, the interaction of pigment, water and paper whether working with watercolour or fluid acrylic. Incorporating other mediums such as inks, pastels, collage of powdered charcoal is always fun, stimulating and encourages more creative and individual
expression.

Her work can be found  in private collections across Canada and in Europe.
