Jenny Gibson Born in Peterborough, Jenny has been painting since 1994. In the past 2 years she has been inspired to create on a regular basis. Jenny finds her oil painting exhilarating and a wonderful way to express herself. She is a self taught painter, and has had about 5 years life drawing lessons under Nephar Campbell. She paints a wide variety of subjects from scenery, jazz musicians to African art. Jenny's recent works, created with a pallet knife, are full of brilliant colours and textures. Recent showings at Cossar's Art Studio include: "Miniatures" and "Woman in Art" (2004, 2005)One of her goals is to have her own art show and enter some juried shows as well. Jenny can be found most evenings and weekends in her studio with music playing while losing herself in her artwork. “Time flies when you are having fun.”
