Elaine Birtch  www.naturephotography.ca

Elaine Birtch graduated. with a business degree but her great passion is photography.  Over the years, she has learned a lot from photographers such a Freeman  Patterson, Wayne Lynch, Tony Sweet,  Marc  Muench, and Darwin Wiggett.

Her photo of  Honeymoon Lake Alberta was chosen  by Popular Photographer Magazine to be shown on  their website. 

 Elaine has traveled all the provinces of Canada, many places in USA and some of  Europe  for the perfect image.   She especially enjoys  bird migration in the spring at Presqu'ile Provincial Park and Carden Alvar.  

 The changes in lighting is one of Elaine's favorite creative tools. The dramatic light of stormy weather makes dynamic images. The  golden light in early morning and later in afternoon are  magical times of day for photography.  The lighting conditions combined with a palette of changing colours of the seasons makes for inspirational images at  anytime of the year.
