All my life I have loved making art. I have dabbled in many mediums over the years but return time and again to painting in oils. Paintings and drawings of the old masters have had a great impression on me and continue to influence and inspire my work. Academic drawing and painting is an intense discipline. To find balance in my creativity I frequently “let loose” with abstract mixed media. My most recent abstract work involves resins, metallic powder and oil paint. While conducting a busy life traveling with various business interests, I have always made time for creative expression though art. Art education has been a priority, most recently studying classical academic art with Pauline Bradshaw. While visiting various world-renowned museums including the Hermitage in Moscow, the Louver in Paris, the National Gallery in London and the Uffizi in Florence, I continued intensive self-study programs. My work is a reflection of dedicated, life-long interest in pursuing classical tradition in art. contact Anita
